Ohgoodness. My results are inexplicable and wrong. OH.

This is clearly a wee problem in a lab report, the point of which, you would think, is explaining the results. Um. Yeah; results, analysis and interpretation are 250 marks out of 575. Oh dear.

And what's worse, I seem to get different results depending on what starting values I take.

( This takes some explaining. Feel free to skip, it's not all that interesting, just explaining to other people helps me work it out myself. )

I do like being childish enough to be easily amused. I saw a quotation somewhere that went 'happy is he who can laugh at himself, for he shall be constantly amused', and oh, it's true.

Currently I'm writing about gay atomic orbitals. Technically what I've written is '3 is HOMO,' but still, you know. The simple things make me smile.

( Waffle on what this actually means, because hopefully this will help me fix it in my head before I write it up. LJ is so useful like that. )

Lab report is Done. Packing boxes to leave here over the holidays is also done, and said boxes have been taken to the right room by Ben, who is the bestest person everI've also spoken to both Mr Skelton (Teaching Administrator for Physics) and Dr. Robson (deputy Dean of Natural Sciences), and it looks like swapping my degree will be fine.
